Adrian and Clare
Two qualified Lambeth Tour Guides providing LGBTQ+ walks highlighting the borough's rich and varied queer history.
Adrian has lived in Lambeth for over 35 years and has enjoyed gay culture in the area for many years. He has keen interest in local history and enjoys telling stories.
Clare lived, loved and partied in Lambeth for 40 years. She marched against Clause 28, was a member of the L&G Pride Organising Committee 88-91, and is still a keen LGBTQ+ activist today. Hear about queer history from someone who was there.
We were both neighbours for many years but we only met properly on the Lambeth Tour Guide's course at Morley College and a firm partnership was formed. We have been commissioned by a number of organisations including Lambeth Council and Lambeth Links to develop our various walks to share our history. We would love to see you on one of our colourful tours soon.
